Day 1

Arrival Chennai

On arrival in Chennai airport then transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure overnight
stay at Chennai

Day 2

Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (approx. 150km / 3 – 4hrs)

Morning Breakfast after proceed Kanchipuram, which was the Chola capital in the second century, is a significant location for people to learn about Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism today.

You are welcome to visit the well-known temples in the city, including Kamakshi Amman and Ekambareswarar. Visit the city’s silk weavers as well; they have lived here for the previous four centuries. Proceed in the direction of Mahabalipuram after that. overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.

Day 3

Mahabalipuram

Mahabalipuram was the historic port of the Pallava rulers. Among other architectural marvels, the Pallava emperors created caves, sculptural panels, temples, and Monolithic rathas during their rule. Mandapam Krishna is included in today’s visit. It is the largest cave-cut Hindu temple in the world, dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple’s walls are covered with figures of Lord Krishna, humans, birds, and demi-gods. On the beach, there is a temple. This temple, which originates from the eighth century, is one of the finest examples of Dravidian architecture. The day’s final attraction is the Five (Paanch) Rathas. It is a set of five monolithic temples, each built in a different architectural style. It is also known as the Paandava Rathas, overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.

Day 4

Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (approx. 110km / 3 – 3:30hrs)

After breakfast this morning, proceed to Pondicherry. Once there, register at the hotel. You are free to engage in the things you enjoy for the remainder of the day.

You can visit the local market, engage with the residents, savour delicious regional cuisine, go on independent explorations of the area, and much more, overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Day 5

Pondicherry

This morning, after breakfast, tour the Sacred Heart Church, the Rai Niwas, and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. In addition to being a religious institution, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an eastern example of Gothic architecture. The Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry’s official house is Raj Niwas.  The day’s final highlight is Sri Aurobindo Ashram,which was created by Sri Aurobindo in 1926. This spiritual community attracts a large number of people throughout year, overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Day 6

Departure Pondicherry – Chennai (approx. 170km / 4 – 5hrs)

After breakfast this morning, proceed to Chennai Airport your next destination.
